Treasury shrinks purchase taxes on 630 products

Finance Minister Avraham Shochat signed an order yesterday reducing the purchase tax on 630 consumer goods as well as on manufacturing costs, totaling NIS 1.3 billion per year. The order went into effect at midnight last night. The 65 percent purchase tax on vehicles has not been reduced.
